In her Minnesota debut, Alanna Smith led the Lynx with a game-high and career-high 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting, eight rebounds, two assists and four blocks, marking the second 20+ point game of her career.

Smith's 22 points is the second most by any Lynx player in their debut with the only person to have scored more was Napheesa Collier with 27 points (May 25, 2019 vs. Chicago).

Collier had a stellar evening on both ends of the court, ending the night with 20 points, a game-high 12 rebounds (10 defensive), one steal and two blocks in 30:43 minutes of action. This also marks her 17th career game with 20+ points/10+ rebounds, with Fowles (40) and Maya Moore (18) being the only two other Lynx to have more such games.

Tonight marks Collier's fifth career game with 20+ points/10+ rebounds/2+ blocks. The only Lynx player have more such games is Sylvia Fowles (40 games).

Courtney Williams had a stellar debut in a Lynx jersey, ending the game with 14 points, five rebounds, seven assists and five steals. She becomes only the third player in franchise history to achieve 10+ points/5+ rebounds/5+ assists/5+ steals. The only other Lynx to do so are Maya Moore (June 27, 2015 vs. Phoenix) and Odyssey Sims (June 25, 2019 at Indiana).

Kayla McBride also had a strong impact on the game, tallying nine points, five rebounds, five assists and three steals in 30:32 minutes. This marks the second time in her career with 5+ rebounds/5+ assists/3+ steals with the first having taken place on July 12, 2017 vs. Indiana.

Team Notes

The Lynx collected 15 steals, their highest total since swiping a franchise-record 17 vs. Chicago on Sept. 2, 2020.

Since the start of 2011, the Lynx are now 151-7 when holding their opponent to 40.0% or less from the field.

Seattle finished with 1-of-9 from beyond the arc, the fewest the 3-point field goals allowed by Minnesota since Chicago went 1-of-7 on May 14, 2017.

Storm Notes

Nneka Ogwumike led the Storm with 20 points, nine rebounds and two steals across 30:13 minutes.

Next Game

The Lynx will return home in a rematch against the Storm on Friday, May 17 for the home opener. Tip is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT and will air on ION.
