SAN ANTONIO. - Netminder Juuse Saros' 32 saves and one assist helped the Milwaukee Admirals (20-13-4-0) defeat the San Antonio Rampage (20-16-2-0) 4-1 on Friday at the AT&T Center.

After more than 30 minutes of scoreless action, the Admirals broke the game open at 13:14 of the second period when Trevor Smith collected a rebounding puck and fired it into the net. Milwaukee capitalized on a power-play opportunity 89 seconds later when Trevor Murphy connected with Frederick Gaudreau who went top shelf on goaltender Spencer Martin, giving the Admirals a 2-0 advantage.

Milwaukee took a three-goal lead at 11:30 of the final frame after Joonas Lyytinen's wrister from the right circle slipped past Martin. San Antonio cut into the lead at 17:42 when Alex Belzile found an open Tage Thompson who registered a power-play goal to end the shutout. The Admirals ended the Silver and Black's rally after Anthony Richard registered an unassisted empty-net goal at the 18:19 mark, securing a 4-1 Milwaukee victory.
