
Millan Named CHL's First Start for November

GLENDALE, Ariz. (League Release) - Denver Cutthroats goaltender Kieran Millan, Arizona Sundogs forward Jeff Kyrzakos and a tied trio of third star players that includes Fort Worth's Phil Fox, Rapid City's Jared Brown and Quad City's John Murray have been named the "ËOakley Three Stars "Ë for the month of November 2012.

First Star - Kieran Millan, G, Denver Cutthroats
Millan had a breakthrough type of month going 5-2-1 with a 1.80 goals against average and a .943 save percentage. His 22 points in the month have moved him into first place in the overall three star standings. The Boston University product was named a star in six games during the month including first star twice and second star four times. On the season, Millan is 5-4-1 with a 2.42 goals against average (fourth in the CHL).
Second Star - Jeff Kyrzakos, F, Arizona Sundogs
Most of the veterans damage during November came in the early part of the month where Kyrzakos scored multiple-goals in three games between Nov. 2 and Nov. 9. He finished with six goals and an assist in the month and earned 15 points by being named the first star three times. On the season, the Mississauga, Ontario native has seven goals and two assists.
Third Star - Phil Fox, F, Fort Worth/Jared Brown, F, Rapid City /John Murray, G, Quad City
Fox, Brown and Murray each earned 14 points during the month of November by all earning two first star nods, one second star and one third star. Fox had seven goals (three GWG's) and five assists, Brown had three game winning goals and eight assists and Murray went 4-2-3 with a 2.51 goals against average during the month.
