CHESTER, Pa. - The Philadelphia Union tied Nashville SC 1-1 on Sunday afternoon at GEODIS Park, in what was Nashville's home opener as well as their first match in their new stadium. With the draw, the Union remain in first place in the Eastern Conference with 18 points. In the first half, Andre Blake recorded four saves to keep the match scoreless through the opening 45 minutes of play. Mikael Uhre scored his first MLS goal on a strike to the center of the goal in the 66th minute, assisted by Daniel Gazdag.
The Union are on the road at Banc of California Stadium on May 7th where they will play LAFC (11:00 p.m. ET / PHL17).
