- The New York Red Bulls (5-2-2, 17 pts.) defeated Chicago Fire FC (2-3-4, 10 pts.), 2-1, on Saturday night at Soldier Field.

- Chicago opened the scoring in the 16th minute, as Xherdan Shaqiri converted a penalty kick following a New York handball.

- New York evened the score in the 75th minute. Dylan Nealis found Luquinhas, who made a run down the far side of the field, cut back into the edge of the box, and found Patryk Klimala who found the back of the net.

- The Red Bulls took the lead in the first minute of second half stoppage time, as Klimala converted a penalty kick for his second goal of the match.

- New York became the second team in MLS history to win its first five road games of the season in regulation and the first since the Los Angeles Galaxy in 1998.

- The goals for Klimala were his second and third of the season and the 10th and 11th of his MLS career. He has scored eight goals on the road in his MLS career.

- Klimala is the 28th player in franchise history to record double-digit goals and assists in his MLS career.

- Klimala converted his fourth career penalty kick goal with New York. It also marked his third game-winning goal in his MLS career.

- The match marked the first multi-goal match for Klimala in his Red Bulls career.

- Luquinhas recorded his second career MLS assist and third across all competitions, which is tied for the team lead with Klimala, Omir Fernandez, and Frankie Amaya.

- Dylan Nealis tallied his second career MLS assist and his second against Chicago Fire FC. The other was his first professional assist on July 17, 2021, when he was with Nashville SC.

- Dru Yearwood made his 50th career MLS appearance in the match.

- The five-straight road wins are tied for the longest road winning streak in franchise history, which was set in 2000.

- The Red Bulls are 9-1-1 in their last 11 MLS road matches, outscoring their opponents 22-6.

- New York extended its road unbeaten streak to six matches, which dates back to the last regular season match of 2021. This streak is the third longest road unbeaten streak in franchise history.

- Carlos Coronel passed Mike Ammann and moved into sole possession of sixth place in franchise history in wins with 18.

- The match marked the first come-from-behind victory for Gerhard Struber during his time with New York.

- The Red Bulls earned their 120th road win in franchise history, which is tied with Sporting Kansas City for the second-most in MLS history.

- New York has scored 13 goals on the road this season, which is the most in MLS.
