
Midfielder Peter Vagenas Placed on Disabled List

RENTON, WASH. - The Seattle Sounders FC announced today midfielder Peter Vagenas has been placed on disabled list due to a right quadriceps strain.
As a result, Vagenas, 32, is required to miss six games. Included in those six games was the San Jose Earthquakes match on July 31, and he is eligible to return to league play for the September 9 game in Seattle against the Real Salt Lake.
Vagenas, in his 10th season in Major League Soccer, has started all seven appearances in 2010 and has played a total of 542 minutes.
