Midfielder Osman Melgares Returns to Club Real Sociedad

INDIANAPOLIS (Wednesday, July 15, 2015) - Indy Eleven Professional Soccer today announced the club has ended the loan spell of midfielder Osman Melgares, effective immediately. "Indiana's Team" and Melgares mutually agreed to the 28-year-old midfielder's return to Honduran first division side Club Real Sociedad, whose camp he reported to earlier this week.

"Indy Eleven would like to thank Osman for his services on behalf of the club and wish him nothing but the best as he returns to his hometown team in Honduras," said Indy Eleven President/General Manager Peter Wilt.

With Melgares' exit, Indy Eleven's roster returns to 23 players heading into this weekend's "NASL Class of 2014" reunion against expansion mate Ottawa Fury FC. Kickoff at TD Place in the Canadian capital this Sunday, July 19, is set for 3:00 p.m. ET (live on ESPN3.com).

Indy Eleven's next home contest is set for next Saturday, July 25, when the NASL Spring champion New York Cosmos - including Spanish superstar Raul - return to the Circle City for a 7:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
