MONTREAL - The Montreal Impact announced on Friday that midfielder Jeisson Vargas has been loaned to Club Deportivo Universidad Católica, in the Primera División de Chile, for the 2019 season.
In his lone season with the Impact in 2018, Vargas scored four goals in 19 regular season games, including 10 starts, and 871 minutes of play. He also registered one assist in two Canadian Championship starts.
Transaction: The Montreal Impact loaned midfielder Jeisson Vargas to Club Deportivo Universidad Católica for the 2019 season.
