
Midfielder Damian Rivera Loaned to Tampa Bay Rowdies

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - The New England Revolution have loaned midfielder Damian Rivera to USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies for the 2024 season.
Rivera, 21, is beginning his fifth professional season and has made 21 MLS appearances with six starts to date with New England, scoring one goal. The Revolution Academy product from Cranston, R.I. has also featured heavily for Revolution II over the last four seasons, making 54 appearances and 48 starts. Rivera, who has featured with the Costa Rica Under-23 Men's National Team, is currently the second team's all-time leader in goals scored (17), multi-goal games (3), shots (129), and shots on goal (52).
The Revolution visit CA Independiente in Panama for Round One (Leg 1) of the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup on Wednesday, Feb. 21 (8:00 p.m. ET - Watch free on Tubi). New England then opens the 2024 MLS regular season on Saturday, Feb. 24 at D.C.
