
Mickey Renaud Memorial Scholarship Fund Established

Windsor Spitfires News Release
(Windsor) The Windsor Spitfires are proud to announce that Sutherland Global Services has established the "Sutherland Global Services' - Mickey Renaud Memorial Scholarship Fund", awarding $3,000 annually to a male and female high school senior athlete in the Windsor, Essex or Lambton County area. These student athletes must maintain a grade point average of 80% or higher, be actively involved in school or private sporting activities during their senior year and plan to pursue a Computer Science, MIS, CIS, Computer Programming, or related field of study at St. Clair College.
Applications must be submitted by February 15, 2009. The winners will receive their scholarship certificates on-ice prior to the commencement of the Windsor Spitfires final regular season home game on March 12, 2009.
