Michael Dal Colle Named to Team Canada Training Camp Roster

Oshawa, ON - Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League, announced today that 29 players have been invited to attend Canada's National Junior Team Sport Chek Selection Camp, beginning Dec. 11 at the MasterCard Centre for Hockey Excellence in Toronto, ON. The Oshawa Generals are pleased to announce that Michael Dal Colle has been named to the training camp roster.

The roster includes two goaltenders, 10 defencemen and 17 forwards. Canada's final roster for the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship in Toronto and Montreal will include 22 players, and must be finalized by Dec. 25. To view the complete roster, click here. Michael Dal Colle, a native of Woodbridge, ON is currently playing his third season with the Oshawa Generals. He has scored 41 points (18 goals, 23 assists) in 20 games played in the 2014-15 season. Michael was selected fifth overall by the New York Islanders in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft and signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the club in September.

Oshawa Generals General Manager, Roger Hunt says, "I'm glad Michael has been recognized for his efforts as one of the elite players in the country. We wish Michael all the best for the camp."
