
Micaletto Named ToAll-League Second Team

STATESBORO, Ga. - South Georgia Tormenta FC's Marco Micaletto has been named to the USL League One All-League Second Team for his top performances in 2020. The All-League Teams were voted on by team technical staff and executives.
The Italian midfielder was Tormenta FC's powerhouse for scoring opportunities this season and tied with FC Tucson's Charlie Dennis for most chances created in USL League One with 36. Micaletto played 1,269 minutes throughout 15 matches in 2020 and scored three goals and two assists. He has notched 15 goals throughout his time with Tormenta and holds the club record for most goals scored.
Per Tormenta FC's initial roster announcement on Wednesday, Micaletto is confirmed to return in 2021. The club's top goal-scorer will be joined by midfielder Abuchi Obinwa and defender Curtis Thorn. New player announcements are coming soon, and contract agreements are currently underway with additional returning players from the 2020 squad.
