Revolution II Player Tests Positive

New England Revolution II News Release


The New England Revolution have learned that a Revolution II player that had been conducting individual workouts, separate from the MLS First Team, has been confirmed positive for COVID-19. The individual has had no contact with the Revolution First Team. Upon receipt of the preliminary positive test result on Tuesday, the player immediately self-isolated. All other Revolution players and staff continue to test negative during regular PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) testing.

The Revolution will continue First Team training on Thursday as the club prepares for Sunday's MLS regular-season finale against the Philadelphia Union on MLS Decision Day 2020 presented by AT&T (3:30 p.m. - ABC, 98.5 The Sports Hub, 1260 AM Nossa Radio USA).
