FOXBOROUGH, Mass. - Nearly 50,000 tickets have been sold to the highly-anticipated pre-World Cup international soccer match between Mexico and Portugal, that will be played on Friday, June 6, at Gillette Stadium.
The lower bowl of the stadium is already near capacity; however, a limited number of tickets in the lower bowl are still available through special hospitality packages. Seats in the mezzanine and upper deck, which start at $40, are still available and can be purchased through all Ticketmaster outlets.
The match is expected to feature reigning world player of the year - and recent UEFA Champions League winner - Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal, as well as Mexican stars Javier Hernandez (Chicharito) and Giovani dos Santos. Both teams will feature their World Cup-bound rosters as the teams are wrapping up their pre-World Cup schedule.
