
Mets Open Exciting Six-Game Home Stand on Tuesday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets return home to First Data Field on Tuesday to start a six-game home stand vs. a pair of FSL North teams.
Tuesday-Thursday the Mets take on the Lakeland Flying Tigers (Detroit), then they finish the home stand with three games against the Clearwater Threshers (Philadelphia) Friday-Sunday.
Games Tuesday-Saturday start at 6:30 p.m. while Sunday's finale is a 1 p.m. start time.
Tickets to all games are available on www.stluciemets.com, over the phone by calling 772-871-2115 or at the First Data Field box office (opens 10 a.m. weekdays).
The highlights of the home stand are Dollar Night on Thursday, Free Shirt Friday sponsored by Coca Cola, the annual St. Lucie County Safety and Reading Festivals on Saturday and the Mets wearing special jerseys on Saturday.
The following is a full list of happenings at the ballpark for the upcoming home slate.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m. -Fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas for just $15. -Silver Sluggers Night: All Silver Sluggers members get in free and receive a free hot dog. -Baseball Bingo: Free for all fans to play.
Wednesday - 6:30 p.m. -All You Can Eat and a Seat: For $18 fans get a ticket to the game and access to the smorgasbord of hamburgers, hot dogs, salad, popcorn, $2 soda, $2 water and $2 beer.
Thursday - 6:30 p.m. -Dollar Night: $1 Bud and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn. -Solo Cup Special: Buy a Mets solo cup for $12 and receive $1 draft beer refills every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
Friday - 6:30 p.m. -Free Shirt Friday: The first 1,000 fans receive a Mets-themed T-shirt courtesy of Coca-Cola. -Coca-Cola Customer Appreciation Night: Fans who bring in a can or bottle of Coke (or a proof of purchase) receive a free general admission ticket. -Family Fun Night: All Klutch's Kids Crew members receive free admission. Saturday - 6:30 p.m. -St. Lucie County Family Reading Festival: From 9 a.m.-1 p.m. inside the stadium families with kids of all ages can enjoy a book fair, author readings and much more reading related fun. Free tickets to the game will be distributed. -St. Lucie County Safety Festival: From 9 a.m.-2p.m. in the parking lot fans can learn about important aspects of safety like fire safety, water safety, pet safety and more. -Treasure Coast Food Bank Custom Jerseys: The Mets will wear custom jerseys to benefit the Treasure Coast Food Bank. The jerseys will be auctioned off both at the game and online at www.stluciemets.com.
Sunday - 1:00 p.m. -Enjoy an early afternoon of baseball! (Sunday Brunch is sold out for this game)
