?Following four games on the road, the Mississauga MetroStars return home to the Paramount Fine Foods Centre this Family Day weekend to face two Eastern Division rivals. On the heels of a 13-5 defeat in Utica last weekend, the MetroStars (2-10) begin a three-game homestand Friday with a match against second place Baltimore Blast (8-5).
? ?Mississauga midfielder Matthew Rios led the team in scoring with three assists against Utica City FC while forward Damion Graham had a pair of goals in the loss. Midfielder Luis Rocha netted his first goal of the season following his return to the lineup after a long injury layoff.
? ?The Blast also suffered a loss to Utica City FC last weekend, a 9-1 thumping at the SECU Arena that snapped an 18-game home win streak. Baltimore however bounced back two days later with a 9-3 win over the Harrisburg Heat. Vini Dantas and Mohamed Ndiaye each had three points for the Blast in the victory. The Blast lead the season series with the MetroStars 2-0 following an 11-3 win at home on Dec. 1 and a 6-5 overtime victory in Mississauga on Jan. 3.
? ?On Sunday afternoon, the MetroStars host the third place Heat at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre. Defender Nelson Santana had a goal and an assist in the Heat's 9-3 loss to Baltimore last weekend. The MetroStars lead the season series with the Heat 1-0 having beaten Harrisburg 7-6 in Mississauga back on Dec. 30.
? ?The MetroStars face the Baltimore Blast at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre Friday Feb. 15 with kickoff set for 7:35pm (ET). The game will be streamed live on MASL.tv at MASLsoccer.com. The MetroStars then host the Harrisburg Heat Sunday Feb. 17 at 3:05pm (ET). The match will be seen live nationally in the US on Eleven Sports. Fans in Canada can watch the live digital stream on Eleven Sports Next, available on the Amazon Twitch platform at: https://www.twitch.tv/elevensportsnext. Immediately after the live broadcast, the match will be archived on MASL.tv at maslsoccer.com.
