
MetroStars Call Up Three Players For Tonight's Friendly Against A.C. Milan

Secaucus, NJ (Thursday, May 16, 2002) - The MetroStars today announced that they have called up three players to their roster for the international club friendly against A.C. Milan at Giants Stadium (tentative start time, 9:45 p.m. ET). Charleston Battery midfielder Kevin Anderson (#20) and New Jersey Stallions forward Rogerio DaSilva (# 28) and midfielder Milenko Popovic (#24) will be part of the roster available tonight for MetroStars head coach Octavio Zambrano. Anderson, who has previously played for the Tampa Bay Mutiny, Colorado Rapids, Long Island Rough Riders, and Minnesota Thunder, has seen action in three games this season with the Charleston Battery. DaSilva and Popovic play for the Stallions, who participate in the Division III League of the United Soccer Leagues.
