
Mercury Signs Madi Williams to Hardship Contract

PHOENIX - The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury announced today that they have signed guard Madi Williams to a hardship contract.
Williams, a 5-10 rookie out of Oklahoma, was selected 18th overall by the Seattle Storm in the 2023 WNBA Draft. The three-time All-Big 12 First Team selection averaged 15.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in the 2022-23 season, shooting a team-high 51.4% from the field. She finished her career ranked second in Sooner history in points and fifth in rebounds.
