PHOENIX - The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury today announced the signing of Isabelle Harrison, a 6-foot-3 center out of the University of Tennessee. Harrison, the Mercury's first-round selection (12th overall) in the 2015 WNBA draft, missed last season for rehabilitation after suffering a torn ACL during her senior year at Tennessee.

Harrison was a three-year starter for the Lady Volunteers, posting career averages of 9.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per game over her four-year career at Tennessee. Prior to sustaining her knee injury, she recorded 14 double-figure scoring performances and averaged 8.6 rebounds per contest during her senior season, leading to All-SEC First Team and AP Honorable Mention All-American honors.

The Nashville, Tenn. native displayed what was perhaps her best season with the Lady Volunteers during her junior season, averaging 13.6 points and 9.3 rebounds per contest and recording 18 double-doubles on the year. She shot a career-best 57.7 percent on the season, which topped the SEC in that category.

In what will be considered her rookie season, Harrison joins a Phoenix team seeking its fourth WNBA title in 2016. With all five starters back from the Mercury's 2014 Championship team, Harrison will battle for minutes once training camp begins on April 24.

The starting lineup that won it all in 2014 is back! Diana Taurasi and Penny Taylor return to join 2015 All-Star trio Brittney Griner, Candice Dupree and DeWanna Bonner as the Phoenix Mercury pursue a league-record tying fourth WNBA title in 2016. Tickets for the Mercury home opener on Friday, May 20, and the other 16 regular-season Mercury home games can be purchased by calling 602.252.WNBA or by visiting PhoenixMercury.com.
