Birmingham Barons News Release
The Barons have announced a roster move, effective immediately (Wednesday, May 7).
INF Victor Mercedes has been activated off the DL and is eligible to participate in tonight's game at Montgomery.
His activation gives us an active roster of 25. However, RHP Joe Winkelsas, who was assigned to Birmingham yesterday, has not physically joined the team, leaving the Barons with 24 active, present players for tonight's game. Upon Winkelsas' arrival in Birmingham tomorrow, a subsequent roster move will be made to decrease the roster to 24.
