Houston Aeros News Release

HOUSTON, Texas – The men of the 15th annual Houston Fire Fighter Calendar will attend the Houston Aeros games next Thursday, Dec. 16 (a 7:05 p.m. Aeros "Happy Hour" event) and Saturday, Dec. 18 (7:35 p.m.) against the Norfolk Admirals. The Fire Fighters will drop the puck and will also be available to take pictures with fans (cameras not provided). They will also participate in an intermission tug-of-war. For both games, the Aeros are offering a corner ticket plus Fire Fighter Calendar for $25. Order online at www.aeros.com/themenights. Username is Fire, password is Calendar.

All proceeds received from sales of the Houston Fire Fighter Calendar goes directly to the 501c3 Fund to help children burned or crippled by accidents or fires. To date, the Fund has raised over $1.5 million to help area children. The Fund provides bandages, wheel chairs, prosthetic limbs, and other items the children may require. The Fund and calendar project was started because the Fire Fighters of Houston had no way to help the children they see injured after the initial accident. The Fund gives the Fire Fighters the mechanism they need to continue helping through the recovery process.

The calendar alone can be purchased online. The calendars are normally $15, plus $3 for shipping.

For Thursday's Aeros Happy Hour, get a corner ticket plus free parking for just $15, and enjoy pre- and post-game drink specials ($1 well drinks and drafts) at The Bus II across from Toyota Center. Order online at www.aeros.com/themenights. Or, get a center ice seat, free parking, $10 in Toyota Bucks and pre- and post-game drink specials at The Bus II for $30. Username is Happy, password is Hour.
