Memphis Hustle to Host Opening Weekend Festivities

Memphis, Tenn. - The Memphis Hustle, the NBA G League affiliate of the Memphis Grizzlies, will celebrate its first two home games with opening weekend festivities and the final three days of 10 Days to Tip-off presented by Renasant Bank. In the team's home opener on Friday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the first 3,000 fans in attendance will receive Hustle headbands.
On Sunday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. the Hustle will don themed jerseys for Veteran's Day when the team takes on the defending NBA G League champion Austin Spurs. Fans both in attendance at the game and those online will be able to submit bids for these one-of-a-kind game-worn jerseys by downloading the Handbid app and searching 'Hustle Auction'. All jerseys will be autographed and shipped to winners who are unable to attend the game. Auctions will be open at a time to be determined leading up to each game and close at the conclusion of each game and all proceeds will benefit the State Guard Association of Mississippi.
As part of 10 Days to Tip-Off presented by Renasant Bank, tonight marks Hustle Night at the Grizzlies Game when the Grizz take on the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. All Hustle Coaches and players will be on-site pregame and at halftime to sign autographs. Additionally, there will be multiple opportunities to win prizes and compete at in-game contests.
This Thursday afternoon, the team will embark on a Cline Bus Tour from 2-4 p.m. starting at Landers Center to tour DeSoto County, including stops at Renasant Bank for financial education, Cedar Hills Farm, Heartland Hands and a shootaround with students.
On Friday, prior to opening night, Hustle entertainment crews will take part in a pep rally at Horn Lake Intermediate School beginning at 1 p.m.
