Montreal Alouettes News Release
Montreal - The Montreal Alouettes organization announced on Thursday a partnership with broker Mélissa Fecteau from Engel & Volkers.
A mother of two young boys, Mélissa is the spouse of the team's linebacker, Alexandre Gagné, who won the Grey Cup in 2023. Mélissa has been working in real estate for eight years.
As part of this agreement, Mélissa commits to supporting the Alouettes Foundation and producing content with players to showcase Montreal neighborhoods. She will also assist players and staff in their home searches.
She began her career at the age of 19 as a co-owner of a taxi company, where she developed a passion for entrepreneurship. She later became the owner of multi-unit residential properties, gaining valuable experience in the real estate market, which she passionately engages with daily.
The businesswoman had the opportunity to lead a student athlete mentoring program at the University of Sherbrooke. Her role was to mentor football players, an enriching experience that strengthened her passion for community engagement.
"It's an honor to be associated with the Montreal Alouettes, especially since I've been involved in the football world for many years," says Mélissa Fecteau. "I am extremely happy to help the Alouettes Foundation, which assists various community causes; it makes me extremely proud."
"The association between our football team and Mélissa Fecteau is natural given her assistance with young athletes over the years," says Hugo Bernier, senior director corporate partnerships with the Montreal Alouettes. "This collaboration resonates with us greatly; it's a great example of the involvement we aim to foster with our partners."
