Meet Brandi Chastain & Briana Scurry as Red Stars Remember '99 This Sunday

BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. - Ten years ago this week the U.S. Women's National Team captivated America by winning the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup. Sunday, the Chicago Red Stars invite fans to relive that historic moment as we Remember '99 at TOYOTA PARK!

World Cup heroes Brandi Chastain, Tiffeny Milbrett and Briana Scurry will be on hand to celebrate the anniversary and interact with Red Stars fans throughout the July 12 game against FC Gold Pride. The players will be recognized on-field during the match and a special collection of World Cup memorabilia will be on display for fans at the stadium.

To commemorate this historic anniversary, the Red Stars are offering a special 99 cent ticket offer for Sunday's game. Purchase your first ticket for only 99 cents and all accompanying tickets will be discounted at the group rate. The first 100 fans who take advantage of this offer with tickets in the midfield section will be able to have their photos taken with Brandi Chastain, Briana Scurry and the 1999 FIFA World Cup trophy. The 99 cent ticket offer requires the purchase of an additional ticket at the Red Stars' group discount rate.

Season ticket holders can also take advantage of the photo opportunity by upgrading their tickets to the midfield section for the July 12 game. Club season ticket holders can also enjoy the chance to take a photo with the players by purchasing an additional ticket for 99 cents and bringing a friend to the game. Prior to the game, all fans will have the opportunity to meet U.S. '99 goalkeeper Briana Scurry. Scurry will sign autographs in the Red Stars' fun zone, alongside a display of World Cup memorabilia. The collection will include Brandi Chastain's famous sports bra, as well as her game-worn jersey and World Cup medal. The game-worn jersey of FC Gold Pride Assistant Coach Sissi, who played for Brazil in the 1999 World Cup, will be on display - along with her Golden Boot trophy for being the tournament's leading scorer and Silver Ball trophy, earned as FIFA's second best player in the world in 1999.
