OKLAHOMA CITY-The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz would like to invite fans and season ticket holders to the team's 4th annual Meet and Greet at the Cox Convention Center in downtown Oklahoma City. The event will be held on Saturday, March 17, and admission is free and open to the public.
Starting at 10 a.m., fans will get a sneak peek at the upcoming season by watching an intersquad scrimmage and dance team performance. The event will be concluded by an autograph session on the field at 11:30 a.m.
"Saturday will mark the first time this season that the public will be able to meet the coaches, players, dance team members, and front off staff of your Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz," commented General Manager Christie Cook. "The team will participate in an intersquad scrimmage followed by the Yard Dawgz Dance Team and autograph session."
The Yard Dawgz Dance Team will then be featured in the 25th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in downtown Oklahoma City starting at 1 p.m. from Sheridan Avenue and Walker Avenue.
2006 marked the best season in Yard Dawgz history with an 11-5 regular season record and the franchise's third consecutive playoff appearance.
