SOUTHAVEN, MS --- Fans of the Mississippi RiverKings have a chance to get to know their hockey heroes a little better this Sunday, October 17th. The RiverKings have a "Meet and Greet the RiverKings" event set for the North Creek Apartments in Southaven, 8786 North Creek Blvd., from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

Hosting the event is North Creek Apartments and the RiverKings Fan Club. Fans will be able to enjoy a grill out and refreshments will be served. Members of this year's RiverKings roster and coach Kevin "Killer" Kaminski will be on hand to meet their fans, talk hockey and sign autographs. The activity is free of charge.

This will also be a good chance to learn more about the North Creek Apartments facilities. North Creek, located just off State Line Road, west of Horn Lake Road, and adjacent to the North Creek Golf Course, offers one, two, and three-bedroom apartments featuring many amenities. Other features include a swimming pool, tanning bed, business center, fitness center, and much more.

Your Mississippi RiverKings begin the 2010-2011 CHL regular season this weekend, taking on the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. After Friday's season opener in Louisiana, the home opener against Bossier-Shreveport will be played at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven on Saturday, October 16th, starting at 7:05 PM.
