
Media Luncheon

Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the ECHL and affiliate of the National Hockey League's New York Islanders and American Hockey League's Bridgeport Sound Tigers, announce their annual media luncheon will be held Wednesday, October 20th at 1 p.m. at Center Ice Sports Bar located inside of Wings West.
The media luncheon will be the first opportunity for all members of the media and fans to meet the 2010-11 Kalamazoo Wings. This luncheon is the perfect opportunity to get ready for the season by talking with the K-Wing players and Nick Bootland, director of hockey operations and head coach before the team commences the regular season on the road against the Toledo Walleye on Friday, October 22nd.
Center Ice Sports Bar overlooks the NHL rink at Wings West and is also the home of K-Wings Live presented by Miller Lite, the weekly radio show that can be heard on 95.9 FM WLKM. The media luncheon starts at 1 p.m. and everyone are encouraged to arrive early.
For just the 2nd time in K-Wings history, the media luncheon is open to the general public provided fans purchase from the many delicious choices on the Center Ice Sports Bar menu.
