McKinney Gets Start for STORM Sunday

December 1, 2012 - National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada)
Summerside Storm News Release

(Summerside, PE) Prince Edward Islander and former UPEI star Doug McKinney will be a starter when the Summerside STORM and Moncton Miracles square off for the opening tip at Credit Union Place tomorrow (Sunday) afternoon at 2 o'clock. McKinney is a crowd favorite for STORM fans and has made the most of his minutes coming off the bench so far this season.

The STORM are looking to shake up the line-up a bit in order to stop a slide the team has been on over the past few games. The STORM are also looking for another enthusiastic crowd in Summerside tomorrow for their game against the Miracles. STORM Fans have been very boisterous this season and they have helped the STORM come back in a couple of home games. STORM players seem to feed off this type of crowd and tomorrow is an important game for the team to get back on track against the Atlantic Division leaders.

Game time is set at 2 pm, only the second afternoon game in STORM franchise history. Tickets are on sale now by going on line at
