Graham McIntire went 1-2, helping the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide (1-3) to a 3-2 victory over the Torrington Titans (1-3) on Sunday at The Ball Park.
He doubled in the eighth inning.
Zach Kirby pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, three hits and no walks while striking out five.
Joe Borelli was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Old Orchard Beach Raging Tide batters and allowing one run.
Joey Royer got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Kyle Dube couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Torrington Titans, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
