McCormick Field to Host Two Ashville Chamber Events

(Asheville, NC) - The Asheville Tourists are proud to announce two exciting events at McCormick Field this season especially for members of the Asheville Chamber. First, Chamber members will have the rare opportunity to play softball on McCormick Field in a staff-versus-member softball game. The following week, members of the Chamber will get the chance to eat and network at a special cocktail hour before the Tourists game that night.
Thirsty Thursday with the Asheville Chamber!
July 16th is Thirsty Thursday with the Asheville Chamber, featuring a Chamber staff-versus-member softball game to be played on McCormick Field! Participation is open to all Chamber members and costs just $10. The Chamber will accept up to 40 players to participate, so make your reservations today. Friends and family that would like to watch the game may do so for free, and since it is a Thirsty Thursday after all, the stadium will offer discounted concessions and $1 beer. The fun gets underway at 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 16th, for reservations call James Carter at 258-6115 or by email at jcarter@ashevillechamber.org.
Chamber Night with the Asheville Tourists!
The following Friday, July 24th will be Chamber Night with the Asheville Tourists. This event features a cocktail hour from 5:30 to 7:00 pm with hors d'oeuvres, draft beer, wine, and a cash bar - specifically for Chamber Members. Rub elbows with fellow members in a unique networking opportunity before the Tourists take the field to battle the Lakewood Blueclaws at 7:05 pm.
