McClennon Notches OT Winner against Winterhawks

Kennewick, WA - Connor McClennon potted two goals and added an assist as the ICE defeated the Portland Winterhawks 4-3 in overtime on Saturday afternoon at Toyota Center in Kennewick, WA.

Forward Peyton Krebs registered three assists in the game while defenceman Dallas Hines notched one goal and two assists. Gilian Kohler scored the third goal of the bank while Jakin Smallwood picked up the lone helper on the ICE's first goal. Goaltender Matt Berlin stopped 22 shots to pick up his second victory of the pre-season.

The ICE have two pre-season games remaining before the start of the 2018-19 regular season. The Eddie Mountain Memorial Arena in Invermere, BC plays host to the ICE and Calgary Hitmen on Friday, September 14 with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m. MT. The next night, the ICE conclude their pre-season schedule at Scotiabank Saddledome against the Hitmen.
