
McBride, Plum, Wilson to Take Part in National Team Training over NBA All-Star Weekend in Chicago

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Las Vegas Aces guards Kayla McBride and Kelsey Plum, along with forward A'ja Wilson, are among 15 players participating in a USA Women's National Team three-day mini-camp February 14-16 in Chicago. The team will also take part in a variety of off-court activities during the NBA All-Star Weekend, including a USA open practice that follows the NBA All-Star Teams' practices at Wintrust Arena on February 15.
In addition to the trio of Aces, the mini-camp roster consists of Ariel Atkins (Washington Mystics), Sue Bird (Seattle Storm), Jordin Canada (Seattle Storm), Layshia Clarendon (Connecticut Sun), Napheesa Collier (Minnesota Lynx), Skylar Diggins-Smith (Dallas Wings), Stefanie Dolson (Chicago Sky), Sylvia Fowles (Minnesota Lynx), Chelsea Gray (Los Angeles Sparks), Nneka Ogwumike (Los Angeles Sparks), Katie Lou Samuelson (Chicago Sky), and Diana Taurasi (Phoenix Mercury).
On Friday, February 14, the USA will conduct a closed practice at Roosevelt University from 8-10 am PT, and team members will spend the afternoon making various appearances. Gray and Wilson will take part in the Special Olympics Unified Game (2 pm), and the duo will take part in the NBA Celebrity Game (4 pm)
On Saturday, February 15, the USA team will arrive at Wintrust Arena in time to watch some of the All-Star practices. The U.S. will then hold an open practice at Wintrust Arena from 12-1:30 pm. The practice will include team scrimmages and interactions with fans. Later that night the team will attend the All-Star Saturday Night festivities.
The USA squad will cap the weekend on Sunday, February 16, with a 8-10 am closed practice at DePaul University before heading to the United Center for the 2020 NBA All-Star Game.
