Saskatchewan Roughriders News Release
Saskatchewan Roughriders' President/CEO Jim Hopson announced today that Steve Mazurak has been hired as the team's Director of Marketing and Sales.
Mazurak has spent the last six years as the General Manager/Owner of Allstream Alliance Partner in Winnipeg. He also spent 10 years at Rogers AT&T serving as the Senior Director of National Sales and Distribution.
The 53-year old is no stranger to the Saskatchewan Roughriders or the CFL. Mazurak played for the Green and White for nine seasons and was recently inducted into the Roughrider Plaza of Honor. After his playing days, he served as the Executive Director for the CFL Players Association from 1981 to 1985.
Mazurak stated that he and his wife Heather are very excited about moving back to Regina. "This is a great opportunity for myself and my family. The Rider green has always been in my blood and I look forward to working with the great business team that is assembled here."
"Adding Steve to the business operations is a great move for this organization," stated Riders President/CEO Jim Hopson. "His insight into the Saskatchewan marketplace and his past business experience should make for a smooth transition for Steve and the organization."
