Teresa Palmer, a Mays Landing resident and a teacher at the Atlantic County Special Services School, won two tickets to the sold-out Bruce Springsteen concert at Boardwalk Hall on March 7 in Atlantic City as part of the Atlantic City Surf''s Midnight Madness ticket sale on March 1. The Surf''s Midnight Madness sale, which began at 12:01 a.m. on March 1, offered a chance to win two Springsteen tickets to any patron who purchased four Surf tickets.

"I am thrilled because I have never seen Bruce before,'''' said Palmer, whose name was drawn from thousands of entries by Atlantic City Surf general manager Mario Perrucci. "I love Bruce and I love the Atlantic City Surf. When the tickets went on sale I was online all day and I could''t get them. This is a great gift from the Surf.''''

Other winners in the Surf''s Midnight madness sale were Tuckerton''s Ed Quigley who won two Flyers tickets; Ventnor's Gina Stevens who won two Phillies tickets; Oceanview''s Edward Dillio who won two Sixers tickets; Ocean City's Lynne Calmpls who won a complimentary suite for an AC Surf game; EHT's Erinn Nolan who won a set of three bobblehead dolls; Mays Landing''s John Ash who won a chance to throw out a first pitch at a Surf game in 2003 and former Atlantic City mayor Jim Whelan who won two tickets to the Manchester United soccer event at Lincoln Financial Stadium.

The Surf manned its ticket office for 24 hours during the event, led by stalwart Surf director Joe Harrington who admitted that while he wasn''t Born to Run he was indeed Born to Sell Surf tickets.
