Mayhem Team up with the International Cherry Blossom

MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem are excited to announce that we will be teaming up with the International Cherry Blossom Festival for the second consecutive year. Last year, this partnership raised over $10,000 for the festival, and we are hoping this year will be another success.

This year's partnership will include games on October 14, 2016 and March 31, 2017. The game on October 14th will serve as a pre-season exhibition game versus the Columbus Cottonmouths. All tickets will be general admission tickets and just $5 (taxes and fees included). Tickets will go on sale September 6th and will be available through the Macon Mayhem Front Office and the Macon Centreplex Box Office. The Mayhem will be wearing a special Cherry Blossom jerseys for both the exhibition game and the March 31st game, and these jerseys will be auctioned off on a date that is still to be announced.

"The Cherry Blossom Festival is something that is very unique to the Macon area, and we are extremely excited to be teaming up with them again," said Mayhem General Manager and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr. "We are hoping to build a unique event and experience that fans can enjoy."
