
Mayhem Return to Macon for Three-Game Home Stand

MACON, GA- After winning their second consecutive game in Mississippi on Friday, the Macon Mayhem return home to the Macon Coliseum for three games on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
WEEKEND RECAP
The Mayhem played just one game this weekend, as they earned a 7-3 road win over the Mississippi RiverKings. The seven goals scored in the game are a Mayhem team record for goals scored in a single game. Five players recorded multiple points, led by John Siemer with three points. In his SPHL debut, Caleb Cameron had a goal and an assist - his first two professional points. Ryan Salkeld scored two more goals, giving him five goals in his last four games. Charlie Finn earned his second start in net, saving 37 of the 40 shots he faced to earn the victory.
WEEKEND PREVIEW
The team returns to the Macon Coliseum for three games this week, starting on Thursday when the Evansville Thunderbolts come to town for College Night. College students can buy a $10 ticket with a valid student ID (limit one ticket per ID). The arena will also be selling $3 Coors Light pints and $2 hot dogs on Thursday night.
Friday night is First Responders' Night, as anyone with a First Responders' ID will be able to purchase a $10 ticket (limit one ticket per ID). Also, Saturday night is Food Drive Night, where fans can purchase a $10 ticket if they bring a canned good to the game. All discounted tickets must be bought in person at the Macon Coliseum Box Office.
Evansville Thunderbolts Record: 3-2-1 (7 points; 3rd Place)

Starting Goaltender: Tomas Sholl (4 GP: 2-1-1, 3.22 GAA, .891 SV%)
Evansville is coming off a weekend where they took two wins from the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs to improve their record to 3-2-1. They have been driven so far by their high-powered offense, who is third in the SPHL in goals per game at 3.67. Their power play has also been a strength, as they rank third in the league at 23.53%.
Left Winger Justin MacDonald has been outstanding this season, as he leads the team in goals with five and points with eight. In two games against Roanoke this past weekend, MacDonald scored three goals. Outside of MacDonald, the Thunderbolts also have nine other players with four or more points.
With both opening night goaltenders, Jonah Imoo and Jeremy Brodeur, on loan to the ECHL, the Thunderbolts have a goaltending tandem of Tomas Sholl and Brendan Jensen at the moment. After being traded to Evansville, former Mayhem goaltender Tomas Sholl has started two games, going 2-0-0 with a 2.00 goals against average (GAA) and a .935 save percentage (SV%). Jensen has also played two games, going 0-2-0 with a 5.46 GAA and a .783 SV%.
Birmingham Bulls Record: 0-4-0 (0 points; 10th Place)

Starting Goaltender: Mavric Parks (4 GP: 0-3-0, 2.53 GAA, .932 SV%)
The expansion franchise Birmingham Bulls have gotten off to a rough start as an SPHL, dropping all four of their first four games, while being outscored 13-5. They rank 10th in the SPHL in goals per game at 1.25 and fifth in the SPHL in goals against per game at 3.25. Their penalty kill has been a bright spot of the team, as they have killed off all but three of their 33 penalty kills.
Former Columbus Cottonmouths goaltender Mavric Parks has appeared in all four of the Bulls game, and despite being 0-3-0, he has played well and posted a 2.53 GAA and a .932 SV%. Only two players have more than one point on the season, as Alexander Taulien has scored two goals and Brandon Millin has recorded two assists.
