
Mayhem Place Goaltender Troy Passingham on Waivers

MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced on Thursday afternoon that the team has placed goaltender Troy Passingham on league waivers.
"We are extremely grateful for what Troy brought to our franchise these past two years, both on and off the ice," said Kerr. "He was an important piece to bringing our team a championship last season and an outstanding teammate throughout his time. We wish Troy nothing but the best in the future."
Passingham, 27, appeared in 20 games for the Mayhem this season, posting an 8-6-3 record with a 3.63 goals against average (GAA) and .895 save percentage (SV%). He came to Macon in November of last season and served primarily as the backup to SPHL Playoff Most Valuable Player Jordan Ruby. In 15 games last season, Passingham collected a record of 8-3-2, as well as a 2.68 GAA and .917 SV%.
