
Former Bull Pizzimenti Joins Mayhem for Rematch in Pelham

(MACON, Ga.) - The Macon Mayhem, proud members of the SPHL, announced Saturday that they have signed forward Ben Pizzimenti.
Pizzimenti, 24, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was waived by the Birmingham Bulls ahead of yesterday's game, and claimed and signed by the Mayhem today. He will make his Mayhem debut tonight in Pelham against his former team.
The forward made his professional debut this season with the Columbus River Dragons of the FPHL, and had 12 points (6 g, 6 a) in 22 games before being signed by the Bulls, where he recorded two assists in 12 games with the squad.
In his senior year of high school for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, Pizzimenti finished second on his team with 67 points (29 g, 38 a) in just 32 games. He then spent three years at NCAA-division III Concordia University Wisconsin, where he had 11 points (5 g, 6 a) in 56 games.
The Mayhem are in Birmingham again Saturday, and return home for their annual School Day Game on Thursday, February 26 at 10:30 am.
