Dodds comes to Macon after being waived by Pensacola earlier in season
MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced Tuesday the signing of goaltender Greg Dodds to a contract.
Dodds, 25, played six games for the Pensacola Ice Flyers this season before being placed on waivers on November 27. The 6-2, 190-pound goaltender went 3-3-0 with a 2.62 goals against average (GAA) and a .915 save percentage (SV%) in his short time in Pensacola. After finishing his four-year collegiate career at the University of Western Ontario last season, Dodds played two games for the Knoxville Ice Bears and one game for the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Dodds becomes the 18th player on the Mayhem's active roster and the third goaltender, joining Troy Passingham and Charlie Finn. He will sport jersey number 30 for the Mayhem.
