
Travis Armstrong Loaned to ECHL Adirondack

Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs News Release
ROANOKE, VA - The Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs announced on Wednesday that defenseman Travis Armstrong has been loaned to the ECHL's Adirondack Thunder.
Armstrong has appeared in all 15 of Roanoke's games and has scored five goals, a new career high. The 27-year old blueliner is in his second year with the Rail Yard Dawgs as he recorded two goals and five assists over 22 games played in 2016-17. He also appeared in a combined 29 games in the ECHL last season with the Norfolk Admirals, Brampton Beast, Manchester Monarchs, Idaho Steelheads and Indy Fuel.

Roanoke returns to action on Thursday night at home against the Birmingham Bulls. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:05 PM. The Rail Yard Dawgs will also play at home on Saturday night for the Teddy Bear Toss game. Saturday's puck drop at the Berglund Center is also set for 7:05 PM
