Care for Kids Golf Tournament: The 2024 Care for Kids Golf Tournament will take place on Wednesday, August 21st at Paradise Canyon Golf Resort featuring a 1:30pm shotgun start. Carson Named Head Scout: The Hurricanes announced that Garry Carson has been named the club's new Head Scout. Carson has been with the 'Canes as a regional scout for the past six seasons. Hurricanes Sign Four: On May 21st, the Hurricanes held a media conference to announce the signings of 2009-born players Tyden Lafournaise, Reid Soper, Leif Oaten and Cohen Pentney. The four were the 'Canes top four picks in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft. More: lafournaise-soper-oaten-and-pentney/

2024 Draft Recap: The Hurricanes selected a total of 15 players in the 2024 WHL Prospects Draft on May 9th. Lethbridge selected Manitoba product Tyden Lafournaise with their first-round selection (13th overall) while adding 14 more players in the draft, including Lethbridge product Dawson Spence in the 11th round. Wilke Dealt: On draft day, the Hurricanes announced the trade of 2006-born forward Trae Wilke to the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for fourth-round draft picks in 2024 and 2026. The 'Canes selected 2009-born forward Jake Evans with the 84th overall selection with the pick acquired in the draft. More:

US Priority Draft Recap: Lethbridge selected 2009-born forward Enzo Didomenicantonio and goaltender Ayden Murphy in the fifth annual US Priority Draft on May 8th.
