
Mavericks Win League-Record Fourth Consecutive Franchise of the Year Award

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Central Hockey League's (CHL) 19th annual Summer Conference concluded on Wednesday, July 23 in Chandler, AZ with the league's awards banquet honoring the top front office executives and team achievements from the 2013-14 season. Earning more awards than any other team, the Missouri Mavericks took home seven awards including the CHL Franchise of the Year (fourth straight season the Mavs have earned the league's highest organizational honor, a league record).
This is also the fourth season in a row the Mavericks won Group Sales Franchise of the Year. It is the third season in a row the Mavericks won for Corporate Partnerships, Ticket Sales Franchise, and Executive Vice President Greg Bergen, was named the winner of the Ralph Backstrom Soul of Service Award. Missouri also won the league's Merchandising Franchise of the Year award and Social Media Franchise of the Year.
