Mavericks to Announce NHL Affiliation Agreement at Press Conference Thursday, June 11th

INDEPENDENCE, MO (June 10, 2015) - The Missouri Mavericks have confirmed that the team will make a historic franchise announcement regarding an official affiliation agreement with a National Hockey League (NHL) team during a special press conference Thursday, June 11th at 2:00p.m. at Independence Events Center. Mavericks owner Lamar Hunt Jr. and representatives from the NHL affiliate team will provide details and facilitate a media question and answer session following the announcement.

This press conference is open to invited guests, members of the media and Mavericks fans. Guests may enter through the Main Entrance of Independence Events Center, located on the East side of the building, beginning at 1:30p.m. All attendees will be provided with a special giveaway poster upon entrance to the event.

The Mavericks begins their 2015-16 campaign on the road in Anchorage, Alaska for their first-ever matchup against the Alaska Aces.
