
Mavericks' Goaltender Mathieu Corbeil Recalled by Chicago

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced Monday goaltender Mathieu Corbeil has been recalled by the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Chicago Wolves.
Corbeil, 21 (9/27/91) has appeared in nine games with the Mavericks and has a 3-6 mark with a 2.79 goals-against average and .908 save percentage.
The rookie netminder led the QMJHL with a career-high 37 victories and a 2.38 goals-against average, while sharing fourth in the league with a .911 save percentage in 48 outings with the Saint John Sea Dogs last season. He posted a 37-10-1 record and also ranked first in the QMJHL with six shutouts.
