Mavericks Announce 19-Man Roster

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - Missouri Mavericks' Head Coach Scott Hillman today announced the 19-man roster for the team's inaugural season in the Central Hockey League (CHL).

Hillman, along with President and General Manager Brent Thiessen, trimmed the roster from 27 original players in training camp to a final roster of 19 players. The roster includes two goaltenders, 10 forwards and seven defensemen.

Single-game tickets are now on sale and can be purchased in one of three ways: Via phone by calling 1-866-4-GETTIX (866-443-8849), via internet by going to, or through, and in person at the Global Entertainment temporary offices at 19045 E. Valley View Parkway, Suite K. Upon completion of the Independence Events Center (IEC), the Box Office at the IEC will replace the temporary offices in order to purchase tickets in person. Please note that additional charges apply to phone and internet purchases.

The Mavericks begin their inaugural season this Friday, October 16 on the road against the Rapid City Rush. Missouri will play the first nine games on the road before the team's home opener on November 13 at the Independence Events Center.
