RiverKings Release Two, Roster Down to 22

(Southaven, MS) --- Mississippi RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin "Killer" Kaminski has announced the release of two players from the team's training camp roster. Kaminski announced that forwards Tyler Bellamy and Dan Gordon have been released.

Bellamy came to the RiverKings after a collegiate career at Augustana University in Alberta, Canada. Tyler did not score in the two pre-season games last weekend the RiverKings played against Bossier-Shreveport, was a -1 plus/minus and collected five penalty minutes.

Gordon came to the RiverKings after completing a collegiate career at the University of Southern Maine. Dan also did not score in the pair of pre-season encounters and collected two penalty minutes.

Twenty-two players now remain on the roster, which must be trimmed to at least 19 by the start of the regular season, which is Friday, October 16th at home against the Tulsa Oilers.
