Montreal, Canada. The ABA Montreal Matrix put an end to its six-game winless streak by defeating the visiting Boston Frenzy, 119-108 in a great ABA game. After trailing by three at halftime, the Matrix took control early in the third quarter and never looked back. "We came out strong in the second half, our defense and intensity was key for us today and I didn't want to go into the new year with this win," said coach Sani Ibrahim.

Matrix guard Manix Auriantal led the team with 24 points and 7 rebounds; forward Quininous "Q" Randall chipped in with 22 pionts and 12 rebounds. The Matrix finished the year strong, out rebounding Boston 66-49, an effort they will look to reproduce in the new year. The team's next game is scheduled for Friday, Dec 7 at 7pm against the Strong Island Sound.
