Legion FC look to extend its win streak to three as it faces Miami FC on Wednesday, May 4 at Protective Stadium. The Three Sparks, who had a slow start to the season, will hope to capitalize against a solid Miami side to boost themselves into the playoff zone.

BHM won 2-1 against Charleston in its last outing thanks to a brace by leading scorer Prosper Kasim. His rocket goal gave BHM the lead in the 73' and was nominated for USLC Goal of the Week. Kasim also earned Player of the Week honors for Week 8 of the USL Championship season.

In addition to Kasim, midfielder Enzo Martinez will be crucial for Legion FC. Martinez is tied for 7th in the league in chances created (18) and currently leads his side in assists (2). He and Kasim's creativity and prowess going forward will be key for the Black & Gold as they will need to finish their chances against a clinical Miami side.

Miami FC hopes to continue its hot streak, having lost just one match in its last four, a span that has seen it allow the sixth-fewest goals in the league (7). The Florida-based side is coming off only four days of rest, however, after traveling to and beating Memphis 901 FC 2-1 on April 30. Although Miami retained only 33% possession throughout the match, they started the match hot and scored twice within the first 15 minutes thanks to goals by Kyle Murphy and Pierre da Silva.

Murphy and da Silva will be players to look out for, as Miami will hope for a similar start against Birmingham. The duo currently lead their club in scoring at two goals each, helping their side to its current fifth place position in the Eastern Conference standings.

Both sides will likely enter the match with those standings in mind, as only two points separate the two. A win for Birmingham would see them jump Miami, while a win for the latter would see them extend the gap to five points. With that in mind, tomorrow's contest will be a highly-contested affair and a must-see 90'.

Only one BHM player makes up this week's UAB Sports and Exercise Medicine Injury Report - forward Edi Horvat is questionable (hamstring).

Tomorrow, Legion FC's 2022 'Everybody Wins on Wednesday' campaign continues! The match kicks off at 7:00 and the squad in Black & Gold needs the support of another great home crowd as it aims to keep the recent winning streak going!

Legion FC will next travel to face Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Saturday, May 7, at 6PM CT and the game will air live on My68 and ESPN+. Following their trip to the Steel City, the Black & Gold will return home to face Las Vegas Lights FC on Wednesday, May 18, at 7PM.
