The New York Red Bulls (1-3-6, 9 pts.) face off against Philadelphia Union (3-2-4, 11pts.) on Saturday, May 6 at Red Bull Arena for Star Wars Night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV and New York Red Bulls Radio in English via TuneIn, the New York Red Bulls app, and NewYorkRedBulls.com.
Coverage on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV in English and Spanish begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Steve Cangialosi will have the primary play-by-play responsibilities and will be alongside Danny Higginbotham on the English side, Moises Linares will have the play-by-play responsibilities alongside Jaime Macias on the Spanish broadcast. New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 7 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley.
This will be the 33rd overall regular season meeting between New York and Philadelphia, with the teams drawing three times in the last five regular season matches. The New York Red Bulls have fourteen wins against the Philadelphia Union.
Forward Cory Burke has made nine appearances so far in his first season with the Red Bulls. The Jamaican international earned New York a second half goal with a header against Chicago Fire FC at the 89th minute. Burke will face the Philadelphia Union for the first time as a member of the New York Red Bulls this Saturday. Burke has recorded 26 career MLS goals with nine coming from off the bench.
Following Saturday's match, New York Red Bulls will host D.C United in the Round of 32 of the 2023 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup on Tuesday, May 9 at MSU soccer park. Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm.
