Storylines:

Strong Offenses: The Chicago Red Stars lead the league in both goals and assists, despite being one of the few teams who have only played 4 games so far this season. However, the Reign are league leaders in total shots and shots on goal, guaranteeing an exciting offensive matchup between the two teams.

Home Team Advantage: Since 2013, every time the Red Stars and Reign played, the home team has had the upper hand. Chicago's record at home against the Reign is 7-2-2, whereas on the road in Seattle the Red Stars' record is 2-6-4.
